September 1: Supreme Court in Darwin Open Day

The Supreme Court Open Day (10am-2pm on Saturday, September 1) is one of the highlights of the calendar, with something for families, law students and anyone interested in how the court operates.

Organised in conjunction with Parliament House and Government House, which will also open their doors to the public, the Open Day is held at State Square in Darwin and is a chance to visit these important institutions.

At the court there will be a free barbecue, showbags for kids and a chance to win prizes.

A sentencing forum will be held with Justice Southwood and the NT's new Independent Commissioner Against Corruption will be taking questions from the audience.
